Information for Practices

How Listings Work

BiomimeticClinics.com is an editorial directory. Entries are compiled by hand from the public member, fellow, and accreditation records of the recognised credentialing bodies, and every entry states the credential claimed, the directory it was checked against, and the date it was verified. Readers can confirm any of it independently.

There are two kinds of listing. The free listing is the directory itself: inclusion costs nothing, is open to any credentialed practice on request, and is not capped — any number of credentialed practices may be listed in the same city and specialty. The promoted listing is a separate, clearly-labelled placement: one per city and specialty, described in full below.

Most practices in this directory did not ask to be here and pay nothing. They were indexed because their credentials are a matter of public record. A listed practice may claim its entry, correct it, or have it removed at any time, free of charge, whether or not it is a paying customer.

The Promoted Listing

Each city and specialty has one promoted placement. The practice holding it is ordered first on that directory page, above the free entries, and is always labelled as promoted. When a visitor asks us for an introduction to a practice in that city and specialty, the request is routed to the promoted practice rather than shared among every practice listed.

The placement is awarded first come, first served — whichever credentialed practice requests it first holds it, and it stays held until that practice gives it up. Holding it changes ordering and request routing only: it does not change how any practice is described, does not affect credential verification, and does not remove, demote, or suppress anyone else's listing.

Credential Requirements

Verification against at least one of the following is required before any entry is published, and it is not waivable:

• AOBMD
  Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry — accreditation or fellowship, for the Biomimetic Restorative category.
• IAOMT
  IAOMT SMART Certification — required for the Holistic & Biological category where mercury amalgam removal is offered.
• IABDM
  IABDM Accreditation — accepted as primary credential for the Holistic & Biological category.
• ALLEMAN
  Alleman Center Six Lessons — accepted for Biomimetic Restorative listings.

A practice whose credentials cannot be found in the issuing body's own public records is not published, and this is not something a payment changes. If you hold a credential not named above and believe it is equivalent in rigour, write to us with documentation — we assess credentialing bodies on an ongoing basis.

What the Promoted Listing Includes

• Verified credential display
  Your accreditation shown with the issuing body named and linked, marked up with schema.org EducationalOccupationalCredential so search engines and AI assistants can parse and cite it.
• A practice profile page
  Procedure coverage, practitioner background, and training history, written to the same editorial standard as the rest of the site and structured for machine reading.
• First position in your city and specialty
  Your practice is ordered first on the directory page for your city and specialty, above the free entries, always labelled as promoted. One practice holds this placement per city and specialty at a time, first come, first served.
• Introduction requests routed to you
  When a visitor asks us for an introduction in your city and specialty, the request goes to your practice rather than being shared among every listed practice.
• Cross-links from relevant procedure guides
  The procedure articles covering the treatments you provide link through to your profile.
• Editorial independence, unchanged
  A paid listing is placed above the unpaid compiled entries in its city and specialty, and receives that cell's introduction requests. Beyond that placement and routing, paying does not alter how you are described, does not reorder the unpaid entries — which stay ordered by accreditation tier and relevance — and does not get any other practice removed, downgraded, or suppressed. If we ever cannot verify your credentials, the listing stops regardless of payment status.

Cost

A listing is $297 per month, billed monthly and cancellable at any time. There is no setup fee, no contract term, no commission on treatment, and no per-patient charge. What you pay does not vary with how many patients contact you or what they spend.

Cancel within 90 days of the first charge and every payment made is refunded in full, no questions asked and no reason required. The 90-day window runs from the date of the first charge — not from signup and not from credential approval.

Correcting or Removing an Entry

If your practice is already listed and something is wrong — or you would rather not appear at all — that is handled free and unconditionally, and it is not a sales conversation. The procedure, including what to send and how quickly we respond, is set out in our Privacy Policy, section 6.
