What this site measures, what it stores, and what it publishes about third parties — stated precisely enough to be verified rather than trusted.
BiomimeticClinics.com is a static editorial directory operated as a publication. It has no user accounts, no login, no patient intake, and no appointment booking, and it never handles card details — practice payments are taken by Stripe on Stripe's own systems. It is not a clinical service, keeps no patient records, and cannot give medical advice. If you ask us to introduce you to a practice, we use what you choose to tell us about what you are looking for — including any health details you volunteer — to make that introduction, and for nothing else; section 4 sets out exactly what happens to it. This policy covers the ways personal data moves through the site: analytics measurement, email correspondence, the two forms — a practice's listing enquiry and a visitor's introduction request — and the editorial publication of practitioner information.
If you are here to read, we collect nothing from you directly. There is no account creation and no newsletter. Every editorial page's contact route is a link that opens your own email client, so we receive only what you choose to send us.
There are exactly two forms on this site, both optional and both covered in section 4 below: the listing enquiry form on For Practices, which a dental practice completes if it wants to start a paid listing, and the introduction request form on directory pages, which a visitor completes only if they want us to connect them with a verified practice. Nothing else on the site collects anything.
Two things happen automatically when you visit, as on any website: a third-party analytics service measures which pages are read, and the host that serves the pages keeps standard request logs. Neither is used to identify you, and we hold no means of doing so.
We use a standard third-party analytics service to understand which procedure content is being read, so editorial effort goes to the subjects patients are actually researching. It sets a small number of first-party cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones.
We do not use analytics for advertising, remarketing, audience selling, or cross-site profiling, and this site sets no advertising cookies, social-network pixels, or session-replay trackers.
If you would rather not be measured, blocking cookies for this domain, using a private window, or using any content blocker is fully effective. Every editorial page is plain static HTML and CSS with no JavaScript dependency, so all of them render and work identically with analytics blocked. (The two forms — the listing form on For Practices and the introduction request on directory pages — work best with JavaScript, and each states its email alternative.)
Every contact route on this site resolves to hello@biomimeticclinics.com. When you write to us we keep your message and your email address, and we use them only to answer you and act on what you asked for. Correspondence is never added to a marketing list, sold, or shared with listed practices. Ask us to delete it and we will, except where a message is the record supporting a correction or verification decision — in which case we will tell you so rather than retain it silently.
This is an editorial mailbox, not a clinical one, and nobody reading it can give you medical advice or an opinion on your treatment. If you are writing to us about an introduction request, tell us what you are looking for — we use what you tell us to judge which practice is a suitable match, exactly as described in section 4. Please do not send imaging, or clinical records and documents from another provider: we do not need them, we cannot act on them, and we will delete them rather than file them.
The introduction request is the form on directory pages for visitors who want to be connected with a verified practice. It asks for your name and email address, and optionally a phone number and a short note about what you need. We store the request, together with which directory page it was sent from, and use it for exactly one purpose: routing it to one credential-verified practice — the promoted listing holder for that city and specialty where one exists — and following up with you about it. Your details are shared with that one practice and no one else, are never sold, and are never added to a marketing list. A request is kept for 12 months after it is resolved, then deleted; ask us to delete it sooner and we will. Tell us what you are looking for in as much or as little detail as you wish. If you choose to describe your situation — including health details — we use what you write for one purpose: judging which credential-verified practice is a suitable match for you, and briefing that practice so it can judge the same before you speak. What you write is shared with that one practice and no one else. You decide how much to share: nothing beyond your name, your email, your city and the procedure you are considering is ever required, and we do not need imaging or clinical records from another provider.
Where you are. The directory is organised by city, so an introduction cannot be made without knowing roughly where you are. We read this in up to three ways, and we store what each one says. You tell us — the city or ZIP code field on the form, which is the only one of the three we treat as authoritative, because it is the only one that knows where you want to be treated rather than where you happen to be sitting. Your connection suggests — our host derives an approximate city, region, postal area, country and time zone from your network connection, as any website can; we record it as a cross-check and it is often wrong on mobile networks and VPNs. You offer it — if, and only if, you press “Use my current location”, your browser asks your permission and we receive a position already rounded to about a kilometre in your browser before it is sent. We never receive a more precise position than that, we never ask for your location unless you press that button, and declining costs you nothing — the city or ZIP you type is always sufficient. All of it is used to route your request and for nothing else, is shared only with the one practice we introduce you to, and is deleted on the same schedule as the rest of the request.
The listing enquiry is for practices. A dental practice that wants to start a paid listing completes a short form before checkout: first name, last name, clinic name, phone number, and email address. All five are required, because all five are needed to verify a credential against an issuing body's records and to reach the practice about its listing.
We use these details for three things only: verifying the credential, contacting the practice about its listing, and following up if a payment does not complete. That last one is the reason the form comes before checkout rather than after — an abandoned checkout otherwise leaves us no way to answer whatever question stopped it. We do not sell these details, do not add them to a marketing list, and do not share them with other practices.
Details from an enquiry that does not become a listing are kept for 12 months so we can follow up, then deleted. Details attached to an active listing are kept for as long as the listing runs, and for 12 months after it ends. Ask us to delete them at any point and we will.
We never see your card details. Payment is processed by Stripe on Stripe's own systems; card numbers are never transmitted to, or stored on, this site. Stripe handles that data as an independent controller under the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Completing this form is entirely optional and applies only to practices. Nothing about reading this site requires it.
This directory publishes professional information about dental practitioners and practices — currently in our US directory: practitioner and practice name, practice address, practice telephone number, practice website, procedure focus, and credential status against the bodies named in our editorial standard — the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry (AOBMD), the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM), and the Alleman Center.

We publish this material as journalism: an editorial index compiled in the public interest so that patients can distinguish credentialed specialists from practices that adopted the vocabulary without the training. A listing is not an endorsement — see our Terms of Use for the editorial standard that governs it.
If you are a listed practitioner, or act for a listed practice, you can have your entry corrected or removed. Since September 2026 the listed entity is the practice; a practitioner is named on a practice’s page only as the holder of a verified credential, and can ask for that name alone to be removed while the practice’s listing stays. If a page is removed or a factual claim is corrected, the change propagates to search engines on their own recrawl schedule. Cached copies held by Google, Bing, or an AI answer engine are outside our control; we will tell you when the change is live on our side, and we will submit a removal request to the major indexes on request.
Whichever framework applies where you live — the GDPR and UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, or comparable law — the practical position on this site is the same, because there is very little to exercise a right against:

This site is written for adults researching their own dental treatment or that of a dependant. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. Analytics is measured at browser level and is not age-aware; if you believe a child has sent us correspondence, tell us and we will delete it.
This site links out to credential bodies, peer-reviewed sources, listed practices, and the partner sites named in the footer. Following any of those links takes you onto infrastructure we do not operate and whose data handling we do not control. Their privacy policies govern from that point. A link is a citation, not an endorsement of the destination's data practices.
Material changes — a new measurement tool, a new data category, a change to the correction and removal procedure — will be reflected here with a revised effective date at the top of this page. We do not make silent changes to the removal commitment in section 6.
