Why We Built This
Patients who have been through the conventional crown-and-root-canal cycle — watched healthy tooth structure ground away, developed cascading sensitivities, eventually lost teeth that could have been preserved — go looking for something better. They read the peer-reviewed literature. They find Pascal Magne's adhesive research and the IAOMT's mercury toxicology position papers. They arrive wanting biomimetic and biological care, and then discover the hard part is finding someone genuinely trained to deliver it.
That is the problem this directory addresses. "Holistic" and "biological" are unprotected terms: any practice may adopt the vocabulary, and training backgrounds behind it vary enormously. A patient comparing two websites has no reliable way to tell a clinician who completed AOBMD accreditation or IAOMT SMART certification from one who simply rewrote their marketing copy.
BiomimeticClinics.com indexes the difference, and shows its working: every entry names the credential and the public directory it was verified against, so you can check it yourself.
Our Editorial Standard
Every listing in this directory is verified against at least one of the following credentialing bodies before publication:
- Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry (AOBMD) — fellowship-level validation of the full biomimetic adhesive protocol.
- International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) — SMART certification for safe mercury removal and biological material protocols.
- International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM) — accreditation in whole-patient biological dental practice.
- Alleman Center of Biomimetic Dentistry — Six Lessons clinical certification in the IDS and adhesive biomimetic protocol.
We cross-reference each practitioner's claimed credentials against the respective organization's public member or fellow directory. Claims that cannot be verified are not published. There are no exceptions.
What This Directory Is Not
