The International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine publishes a member directory with three certification tiers above plain membership — Certified, Fellow and Master. What to Establish Before a Case

• Is the full SMART protocol followed for amalgam removal? SMART specifies dam isolation, high-volume evacuation, dedicated air filtration and sectioned removal — ask which elements the practice actually uses.
• Is material biocompatibility assessed per patient? Material selection in biological dentistry is tested, not assumed.
