Extraction follows a written biological protocol: oral vitamin C supplementation for one to two weeks before and after, thinner and lighter instruments to minimise trauma to surrounding bone, removal of bacteria and infected tissue with iodine, ozone and cleaning tools, cleaning of the periodontal ligament and infected bone, buffered anaesthetic with the least epinephrine to support blood flow, a PRF and tricalcium phosphate graft made from the patient's own blood factors, and ozone gas at the site.
How does the practice handle existing mercury amalgam fillings?
The office states that amalgam fillings still contain roughly fifty percent mercury, and that research documents effects on the nervous, digestive and immune systems and on the lungs, kidneys, skin and eyes. Old amalgam is removed through a specific protective procedure rather than conventional drilling, and mercury amalgam is never placed as a restorative material in this office.
What materials are used for fillings, crowns and implants here?
